When Nvidia Corp. released its code-named GF104 chip earlier this year, it was widely believed that the graphics processor would eventually power dual-chip graphics board for enthusiasts demanding maximum performance. But as time went on, Nvidia remained quiet about its potential dual-chip flagship product. However, it looks like one of Nvidia's partners wants to create such a device itself.

Gigabyte puts dual BIOS on a GTX480 card

GRAPHICS CARD MAKER Gigabyte has managed to put a dual BIOS on its Nvidia GTX480 board.

The card is the first in the firm's Super Overclock (SOC) series and Gigabyte claims that it is the fastest GTX480 based board out there. It wouldn't disclose what the clock speeds will be but did say the board should tip up by the middle of October.
