"The Sapphire Radeon X1800XT is equal in all specifications to ATI’s version and features the X1800XT graphics processor as the GPU for the card. It sports 256MB of GDDR3 memory and 16 pixel pipelines. In a side by side comparison, the Sapphire version is equal in all aspects except the Sapphire seems to have a more powerful cooling solution and of course, the price is lower.

The card installs into a PCI-Express 16X slot and requires additional power from the computers power supply, either from a PCI-E power connector or a regular Molex power connector using the included PCI-E adapter. The card also features an Arctic Cooling heatsink and fan combination that does a pretty decent job of cooling the flaming hot ATI chip. So far, the card has not exceeded 62C during any gaming session (of which can last anywhere from four to six hours at times). The card runs idle at between 40C and 46C, and max temperature runs about 58C-60C on average."
