SysOpt has an interesting take on Vista and gets into some good detail on the reasons why you should wait a while before moving to it, if you do so at all. "Microsoft suggests a number of reasons why Vista is more secure than XP will ever be. How's it different? For one, it's built with security as a chief priority. I hate to think where security fell in Windows XP's list of priorities, then, huh? Considering the need for security in today's world of seemingly omnipresent hackers, phishers, and scammers, I can't help but imagine that consumers and business buyers, when weighing the cost of Windows Vista plus the requirement for some considerable hardware on which to run it, may feel a bit taken to the cleaners when they decide to adopt Vista and its enhanced security."
