Red Herring is reporting that Sony will be debuting a service in 2007 to allow people to download movies to their PSP, either via a PC to a USB stick, or directly to the PSP.  Sony are apparently in talks with CinemaNow, MovieLink, and Amazon to provide content.  (The original article appears on Financial Times, but requires a subscription to view.)  Industry analysts don't expect this move by Sony to have any significant impact on Apple's iTunes market-share, however.  "The PSPs don’t have a hard drive, so you would be limited by your memory stick and that’s a pretty serious limitation,” said Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Michael Pachter.   He continued “We’re talking about a pretty dinky amount of memory on the memory stick, and they’re probably going to charge $100 to $200 for it."
