First we have Dell's global gaming chief Abizar Vakharia suggested that Dell may be entering the handheld game console market, in competition with Sony and Nintendo. He reportedly said: "You know, that's definitely one that's on the radar screen, but we have no plans to talk about anything today," when recntly asked about handhelds.

However...

Eurogamer.net claim that they have spoken to a spokesman type person at Dell and were told that the company has no plans to make a handheld gaming device.  There again, they didn't rule it out completely.

Meanwhile, in the UK Sony are pushing their PSPs bundled with PS3 consoles.  Perhaps, Sony want to close up the gap in the market as much as they can?  Before anyone else gets big ideas.
