Most of us have memory cards for their mobile phones or digicams. Now even while these cards do provide decent amount of storage, they can't really be used to transfer data. I'm referring to transferring data from your PC to your friends PC. You'd have to carry your card reader along with you and if you don't have the card reader, then it's the device plus the cable to connect to a PC. You may feel that the card's ability is limited to saving images captured or storing mobile phone data. The Kingston DataTraveler Reader is more or less the answer to that problem, though it's not the first of its kind. It is just that Kingston, one of the major memory manufacturing companies sees the potential of this design.
