FairUse4WM releases another crack for Media Player

ImageThe fight against Microsoft Windows Media DRM has been quite fierce. Viodentia released FairUse4WM 1.1 in August of last year -- Microsoft promptly issued a patch. FairUse4WM 1.2 and FairUse4WM 1.3 were then released to counter Microsoft's actions.

Microsoft was not happy at all to see its DRM efforts shredded to pieces so it filed a lawsuit against FairUse4WM's creator. Microsoft dropped the lawsuit in early April after it was "unable to locate these defendants through discovery and therefore could not serve them with process."
