Sony Makes Japanese PlayStation Store Accessible by PC

Sony solves that in Japan
Thanks to the PlayStation Store, gamers can connect their PSP to the PlayStation 3 console to download classic PSone games to play on the handheld. Those without a PS3, however, do not have access to such a feature – unless they live in Japan.

Sony announced at TGS that the PlayStation Store may now be accessed using a PC connected to the web. The announcement currently appears to apply only to the Japanese market, as North American and European gamers still must access the downloadable content via the PS3.
It is unclear when or if the PC-accessible service will venture outside of Japan, but Sony is likely working on ways to sell PSP owners worldwide downloadable content.... More
