Intel, AMD getting cozy over CrossFireX?

HKEPC are reporting (in Chinese)  that AMD (more specifically, ATI) and Intel are cooperating when it comes to CrossFireX support; apparently the Intel P45 chipset will be approved for it.  As HKEPC put it, this will result in a 'win-win' for both AMD and Intel; it means lots of mobos supporting CrossFireX (and thus graphics card sales for AMD), and a gaming platform running Intel chipsets that can also support dual graphics cards (nVidia seem to be more interested in pushing their own chipsets with SLI support than in licensing Intel to use SLI).  Since Intel have no dedicated graphics cards of their own (nor indeed graphics chipsets capable of handling decent gaming), this gives both parties something to crow about.
