If you're looking to build a high end SLI system then you probably want to ensure that it's got the best chance of working right. We all know that SLI requires a bit more work than a standard single GPU system. To that end, nVidia have put together a list of SLI certified motherboards for both AMD and Intel based systems. For AMD64 based systems, there are ten boards from six manufacturers ( Epox, ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, DFI and Abit). For the Intel based systems, there's only five boards from five manufacturers (Epox, ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and Abit), which is perhaps expected given that they're still relatively new. There's also a list of certified graphics cards and power supplies to keep your system running - take a look here!
