Apple LogoFrom The Inquirer:

IT NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE how dense reporters can be. Apple hires the technical brain trust behind the XBox 360 and the conclusion is the firm are making an iphone?

Let's backpedal. Apple grabbed Bob Drebin, Raja Koduri, PA Semi, Mark Papermaster, a few games guys, and undoubtedly many others we didn't hear of. That gives them the ATI ex-CTO, also ex-ArtX, makers of the Nintendo GPUs forever, and another ATI 'big thinker'. Lets just say they have the GPU side down there.

Computer hardware is becoming more and more power hungry these days. A high end gaming or enthusiast computer can eat up a ridiculous amount of power. With multiple core CPUs, multiple graphics cards, and multiple storage drives, the average power supply will just not do. You need a power supply that can really deliver the required voltage at these insane loads Tuniq has jus the power supply for the job. It is the Tuniq Miniplant 950 watt PSU. The great thing about this unit is, it has all the power you need in a standard package size. Many of the power supplies in this output range can be oversized. This can make it difficult to fit for some applications. Let’s take a closer look.

I have recently bought the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM lens, for my EOS 400D body, a.k.a Digital Rebel XTi.  I've now been using this combination for about two weeks, and can give some feedback on how the camera and lens perform together.

EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM

Introduction

I have been using my EOS 400D, with the basic 18-55mm kit lens, for the last nine months.  A few weeks back, I took the plunge and decided to invest in a professional Canon lens.  So, I've written this article after having used the lens, near enough, every day since then.

I purchased the lens from dzone2 on ebay.co.uk, they're based in Hong Kong, and it was delivered to me in the U.K., within two days.

The EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM lens is a popular choice, given that it is at the lower price range, and is very versitile. It features fluorite and Super UD lens elements for sharp results. Focusing can be manually controlled, or done automatically via an ultrasonic motor.
