Wi-Fi Dish Antenna Offers 10GB/s

Tech-On brings us news of a new Millimeter Wave antenna which can be used for indoor Wi-Fi networking.  The developers, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp, claim that when multiple mini dishes are installed a very reliable high-speed connection can be made throughout a home or office.

The antenna is very small and non-obtrusive at just 12mm x 12mm x 1mm, and is designed for 60GHz wireless communications.  It should ensure a transmission rate of 10Gbps by transmitting four channels in parallel (2.5Gbps per channel).
