The New York Times has published the exact figures relating to the buyout of YouTube by Google.  Now you can find out exactly how many Google shares the original investors and founders of the video sharing website got.

Chad Hurley was given shares which are now worth over $345m, Steven Chen's cut of shares are worth $326m.  Sequoia Capital XI who invested, what would now seem a paultry sum of $11.5m, in YouTube during its startup, now have $442m shares in Google.  This being the very same company which invested in Google, so they had their fingers in both pies all a long.
