South Africa faces a unique set of technological problems and this week Click is looking at how those challenges are being met with some pretty inventive solutions.

Some of the solutions are:

  • Directional wi-fi antenna made from a tin can
  • Distance learning using a 5mbps link
  • Internet access kiosks
  • Use of the free Ubuntu Linux to run businesses
