Apple Inc.Apple has just launched a beta version of its internet browser, Safari.  Currently, Apple's browser has a 4.9% share of the market.  This figure is set to rise now that Windows users can download and use Safari, at no charge.

This could be seen as a marketing excersise to encourage PC owners in to buying Apple computers.

Windows XP and Vista users, can get the test version of Safari 3, here.
