If you're a hacker or a coder, then perhaps the BBC/Yahoo coding festival, 'Hackday', is for you.

Hackday 2007 kicked off today in Alexandra Palace, London. But what exactly is 'Hackday'?

Hackday is a free-form event which aims to show web developers how to get more out of the data feeds and interfaces that the BBC and Yahoo make available. The attendees are encouraged to have a play around with this to see what kind of applications can be created over the weekend. What's more, BBC and Yahoo developers will be at-hand to give advice! Sounds like fun!
