AMD dishes the dirt on upcoming Phenom products

One of the tidbits that came out of AMD's analyst day yesterday is additional information on the upcoming Phenom brand. Based on Barcelona, Phenom is AMD's new performance tier that the company still plans to launch later this year, and will eventually be available in dual-core, quad-core, and an unspecified Phenom FX configuration.
AMD released information on both the upcoming flavor of Phenom (codenamed Spider) and the 2008 version, (codenamed Leo). AMD's FASN8 enthusiast design, which was supposed to consist of one or two Phenom CPUs, an upcoming AMD chipset, and an HD 2600 graphics card, was nowhere to be seen, despite having been discussed at other presentations earlier this year. More + Roadmap
