Opera complains to EU over Microsoft

Users "need a genuine choice of browser"

OPERA SOFTWARE, complained to the European Commission yesterday. Somewhat unsurprisingly, the object of its ire was the Redmond Vole (Microtus Redmondia Avarice).
Opera says Microsoft is abusing its dominant position by tying Internet Explorer to the Windows operating system and by hindering interoperability by not following accepted Web standards.
