MSI Wind to take on Eee PC

MSI is launching a new small notebook PC which will contend with the Asus Eee PS, namely MSI Wind.  Well, we've had Wii so why not some Wind?

Chile Hardware have been fortunate enought to get their hands on a MSI Wind notebook, and they claim that these may be available to buy around mid-June.  Their Wind sample came with Windows XP installed, and an Intel Atom CPU with a maxium standard core speed of 1.6 GHz.  Although, Chile Hardware seem to think that it will not maintain that 1.6 GHz speed under full and sustained loading, due to the Intel SpeedStep technology.  That's no doubt something which can be altered.
