Apple Macs to run on Intel chips

Well, it's official.  At the Worldwide Developer Conference, Steve Jobs announced today that Apple will transition to running exclusively on Intel chips over the next two years.  Citing problems with IBM's product roadmap and inability to deliver products at the desired performance levels, Jobs noted that two years ago he was talking about a 3 GHz PowerMac within a year.  "We haven't been able to deliver."
