Various companies are already launching network products which support the draft 802.11n standard for wireless networking.

Braodcom is claiming to have shipped 1 million chips. They supply companies like Dell, Linksys and Netgear.

Dell is using these chips in some of their laptops, including XPS and Inspiron.

The 802.11n standard allows transfer speeds up to 270Mbps, compared to 54Mbps on the older 802.11g.
