The Register has a review of the AMD Turion X2-base Acer Ferrari 5000 laptop computer.  It's an expensive item at 1,699 quid, or about $2,500 U.S., but comes with 2 GiB of DDR2 667 MHz RAM, 160 GB hard drive, and a 15.4 inch display sporting 1680x1050 resolution and drivin by the ATI Mobility Radion X1600 with 256 MiB of video memory.  Sadly, this power comes at a price in battery life as well as money: the battery lasts about 3.5 hours for mundane tasks.
