From IGN UK:

Company projects 3.8 million 3D HDTV sales over the next two years

While a number of North American consumers may still be on the fence about 3D TV, in Korea, the march into the third dimension is going strong. Today LG Electronics announced a new partnership with Korea Digital Satellite Broadcasting, otherwise known as SkyLife, to bring 3DTV to the forefront in Korean television. The "strategic partnership" is geared toward expanding the presence of 3D technologies in the television market through the production of 3D-capable displays and offering a large array of 3D programming. On the programming side, SkyLife already began trials of their 3D broadcasting in October with another wave beginning in January, and on the hardware side, LG has announced their plans for 3DTV in 2010 and beyond.
